Business-Management Certificate Program - Policies
Certificate Performance Standards
Exam average of 75 or better on all course modules required
as set forth in the curriculum.
Satisfactory completion of all online advisor/instructor's assignments
Online Access Timeframe
"Full" Online Certificate ($1799 or higher): access to your online account will end 6 months from registration date; register for 1 or more additional Full Certificates within 6 months of original registration: total online access will be 12 months from original registration date.
"Mini" or "Short" Certificate (under $1799): access to your online account will end 3 months from registration date.
Online portion of Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt blended programs: access to your online account will end 3 months after the last day of the live classroom portion of your program.
Cancellation/Refund Requests
All cancellations must be made in writing, by fax e-mail or US Mail, to Rutgers University Institute for Management and Executive Development*. Dates and timings are based on first business day after receipt of written notification.
The following cancellation penalties will be deducted from refunds as follows:
- Penalty of 15% of the course fee beginning from time of purchase
- Penalty of 25% of the course fee beginning on the start date
- Penalty of 50% of the course fee beginning 10 business days after start date
- No refund beginning 20 business days after start date
Definitions
"time of purchase" - our receipt via online registration transaction, fax, e-mail or US Mail, of your registration
"start date" - the date we register you in our online learning system by creating a user account in your name

Record Confidentiality
Performance records will be released only upon written request of participant
unless training program is employer funded in which case performance
records will be available to employer’s authorized representative.
