LSS Course Substitution and Cancellation Policy
 
Substitutions
Student substitutions will be initially accepted for a pre-paid registration, if submitted in writing by fax or email and confirmed by telephone or by in-person conversation with Rutgers University staff, within 4 business days of the program start date. Additionally, a new registration form with details on the substitute attendee must be sent to Rutgers University within 2 days of the initial substitution notification.  There are no penalties for substitutions.

Note: If substituting with a non-US citizen, the registration form must be received 2 weeks (10 business days) prior to class to allow time for a processing.

Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing, by fax or email, to Rutgers University Institute for Management and Executive Development.

MADE BEYOND 4 WEEKS: Registration fee will be refunded, less a 10% fee, for cancellations received at any time after the registration is received and 4 weeks (20 business days) prior to the course start date.

MADE 2 to 4 WEEKS PRIOR: Registration fee will be refunded, less a 50% fee, for cancellations received less than 4 weeks (20 business days) and greater than 2 weeks (10 business days) prior to the course start date.

MADE LESS THAN 2 WEEKS PRIOR: No refund will be made for cancellations received within 2 weeks (10 business days) of the first day of a course.
Rutgers University reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course or change instructors at any time and is not responsible for any airfare penalties or other travel charges that may occur. If a course is cancelled, every attempt will be made to notify participants ten (10) business days prior to the course start date.
