Jonathan Lane
Program Manager, Continuing Education

Jonathan started his career in the airline and corporate travel industries, in Marketing and Sales. Along the way, he learned a lot about the strategic business application of computer software and hardware, as used intensively in that industry. He also discovered a hidden talent for teaching less technically oriented colleagues and clients to use these tools for productivity, strategic data management and marketing.

In the late 90’s, Jonathan struck out on his own; combining his technical and training skills, he developed and provided training and consulting services to private clients and to adult professionals in public, open-enrollment classes. In this latter role, he delivered training to thousands of individuals in the private and public sectors across the US and Canada.

Since 2004, Jonathan has managed and developed many of Rutgers IMED’s continuing education offerings including our renowned Online Certificate Program and Lean & Six Sigma programs (in partnership with Lockheed-Martin Corp.). He also serves as Advisor-Instructor, facilitating customer learning in several of our Online Certificates.
